13-Year-Old Black Girl Gains Admission To US University To Study Computer Science

A Brilliant 13-year-old girl, Emmanuella Mayaki has been accepted to earn a Bachelor’s degree in computer science from Mary Baldwin University in the United States.

Emmanuella Mayaki is a Nigerian and she is set to become one of the youngest persons in the world to be accepted to study in the university. It is said that since age 7, she achieved a landmark as an expert in Computing Publishing, Advanced Excel, Adobe Page Maker, Advanced PowerPoint and CorelDraw.

She then proceeded to enrolling to study web development and utilized the knowledge to develop her own education mobile application known as Emma’s ICT Academy.

Emmenuella Mayaki developed expertise in TML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, WordPress, PHP, MySQL, Graphics Design, Java and Python. She revealed that she became a teacher in the United Kingdom after she volunteered to impact other students.

She was accepted to Mary Baldwin University, U.S. at the age of 13 to study Computer Science in the spring of 2022. She scored a 91 percentile mark of 1,300 in her Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT).

She is expected to round off her program and graduate from the university at the age of 16.
