14-Year-Old Matthew Graduates From High School And College On The Same Day And Is Set To Earn PhD In Chemical Engineering

Meet the exceptional boy named Matthew McKenzie who has achieved a great feat in the United States after he graduated from high school and college on the same day.

Matthew McKenzie completed his high school and also graduated from Chattahoochee Technical College in Georgia with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.

He received his high school Diploma the same day he received a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the technical college.

It was said that Matthew McKenzie was already reading advanced books when he was 4-years-old and went on to enroll in college at the age of 11. The reason he has a fast track through school was because of an intense homeschool program that he began in his second grade.

His mother, Monique McCord said “We would pull material from different textbooks and custom create his curriculum.”

She also said that when her son Matthew started college, she would take him to class so as to make sure he adapts to the new environment. When he got a little bit comfortable with the environment, he started walking himself and it became easy for transition.

Matthew explained how he plans to become a cosmetic chemist and also wants to attend Kennesaw State University to study biochemistry and transfer to Georgia Tech for his Master’s Degree and PhD in Chemical Engineering. He said he wants to start his own line of chemical products.

We wish him all the best!!
