17-Year-Old Black Boy Accepted Into 21 U.S Universities Wins Scholarship Worth $1.5 Million To Study In Any Of The Universities

Meet Omarion Ikaika Calloway who has been awarded scholarship worth $1.5 million to enroll for Bachelor’s Degree in any of the 21 U.S. universities he has been accepted in.

Omarion graduated from the Parking Cross High School in Montgomery, Albama, United States and he gained admission into about 21 universities in the United States after graduating with an outstanding performance in High School.

Among the schools that accepted him are: Howard University in Washington DC, New York University and Hampton University in Virgina.

Omarion mother, Tiffany said “I’m a happy and grateful mother and I am immensely proud of him.”

The thing is Omarion had it tough while growing up and at the age of 10; he became a caregiver for his grandmother and disabled autistic uncle. His mother worked two jobs and so he always cared for them till his mom got back from work. He always prepares meal, administers their drugs and also made sure his uncle received his daily insulin injections to manage his diabetes.

Omarion has always wanted to study at New York University, New York United States and he was inspired by his grandmother who later died.
