Meet Abdulzied Yen Anafo, the young African Mathematician who bagged Ph.D. Degree at 25 years from the University of Mines and Technology, Tarkwa, Ghana and has set a record.
He got his undergraduate degree in Pure Mathematics at the age of 20 from the University of Development Studies (UDS) Ghana.
Abdulzeid celebrated this achievement on LinkedIn as he says that he is grateful to God Almighty and the professors who supervised his research throughout his academic journey.
Before he enrolled in his Ph.D. program at the University of Mines and Technology, he had gone for his Master’s degree at the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS).
AIMS is located in South Africa and it is a research institution that focuses on Mathematical Sciences. It has several associated networks of linked institutes in Senegal, Cameroon, Tanzania, Ghana and Rwanda.
