Meet Dakota White, a 7-year-old African American girl from Dallas, Texas who just made history as she becomes the fastest kid in the country. She recently set a new record for the Junior Olympics.

Dakota and her teammates in early August set a new record in the girls 8 and under 100-meter relay at the AAU Junior Olympics. Dakota, who finished her part in 59.08 seconds, did set a new national record.

Before this event, Dakota caught the attention of people sometime last year after Tiktok videos of her running in a track competition went viral.

It is said that she started training at the age of 3 with the guidance of her father Cam White who was a former TCU wide receiver.

Her father in an Interview with Fox 4 News said “She just had form, like crazy form. It wasn’t fast, but her form was already perfect. So then as she progressed, we started getting her different trainers.”

Since last year, Dakota has won in all the competitions she has joined.

She hasn’t relented as she continues to train hard without skipping a day even in the heat of the summer. She always ensures that she is hydrated and takes a balanced diet.

Congratulations to Dakota on her achievement!!
