African Lady Bags First-Class In Accounting And Wins Petroleum Fund Scholarship To Study In UK University

Meet Veronica Adeusi, a Nigerian lady who has just won the prestigious Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) Scholarship to pursue a Master’s Degree at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh Business School in the UK.

Veronica graduated from Redeemer’s University, South-West, Nigeria with a first-class in Accounting. After her graduation, she applied for the 2022/2023 PTDF Scholarship and she was awarded the scholarship which will allow her to pursue her masters in UK.

The Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship that allows Nigerians to earn a Master’s degree in the UK, Malaysia, France or Germany.

Veronica took to LinkedIn to celebrate her achievement as she expressed that she was grateful for many things as the route to her achievement was not really rosy and took a lot of resilience, hard-work, perseverance and zest.

In her words, she wrote “Getting here took a lot of grit, resilience and hard-work but it was all worth it and I am entirely grateful for so many things.”
