A black man named Morakinyo Olasupo on LinkedIn shared the goodnews as he was offered a Masters scholarship to study Law at the Nottingham Trent University, through the NTU Excellence Scholarships.
Sharing the goodnews on his LinkedIn page, Mr. Olasupo wrote;
“Today, I resume to class to pursue my LLM in Human Rights at the Nottingham Trent University having being offered NTU Excellence Scholarship -awarded to students who can demonstrate excellent academic achievement and the potential to contribute to the University community.
Based on my course combination, the LLM programme shall expose me to the areas of International Dispute Resolution, Intellectual Property, International Commercial Law, Competition Law as well as Human Rights and Criminal Justice.
Interestingly, both the admission and scholarship were my first attempts.
My candid advice to those interested in pursing their Masters abroad is to just be determined, write that SOP, apply for that admission and scholarship, you have what it takes, you are only doubting yourself. Please, don’t underate your ability pursue your dream and get it.
While I wish myself the best, I appreciate all those who helped with review of my essay for my SOP and the scholarship, especially my brother, Olasupo Abideen for his support, push, Passion and the guidance. I love you so muchhhhhh
I look forward to the meaningful values I shall add with this new chapter of my academic sojourn.
