Best Private Universities In Ogun State. Since the promulgation of 1993, allowing private institutions run tertiary programs in Nigeria, there have been several private universities. Some of which are actually doing great.

These institutions have actually supported the public institutions, since the inception of the first and second generation universities. Nigeria has over 99 accredited private Universities. Most of which are in Ogun state, around 16 universities.

These universities are highly ranked in Nigeria.

About Ogun State

Ogun state is a state in the south western part of Nigeria, dominated by the. Yoruba ethnic group. It capital is the urban city of Abeokuta.

Covenant University is another faith in Nigeria, own by the Covenant Church. The institution is a fast growing university in Nigeria. In a recent ranking, the institution has been ranked to best in private universities and 2nd overall in Nigeria.

The institution was established in the year 2002, located in Ota Ogun. The institute run a variety of programs it run. It has majorly four schools, College of Business and Social Science, College leadership and development studies, College of Engineering and the College of Science and Technology.

The requirements for admission into the school, requires student to posses 5 credit in either GCE/NECO/WAEC in more than two sittings.

Bells University of Technology

Also located in Ota, Ogun State. The institution is the first technical school in Nigeria. The instruction is owned by the former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo. This institution was created in the year 2004.

The university has a varieties of programs it run. Currently has five colleges which includes; College of Engineering, College of Food Sciences, college of Management Sciences, College of Information and Communication Technology and College of Natural and Applied Sciences.

The institute runs Undergraduate and Post-graduate programs. The general requirements for Undergraduate level, like every other universities, the school requires 5 credits in GCE/NECO/SSCE, in not more than two sittings. Which must include Mathematics and English.

Chrisland university is a new and fast growing university in Nigeria. The institution was established in the year 2015. Located in Abeokuta.

Chrisland offers a number of programs. Currently, the institution has three colleges and a faculty which includes; Faculty of Law, College of Arts Management and Social Science, College of Natural and Applied Sciences, College of Basic Sciences.
