Black Man Wins Scholarship To 4 UK Universities At The Same Time After Graduating With First Class In Pharmacy

An african man identified as Adebisi Yusuff Adebayo obtained scholarships offers into four (4) world-class universities in the United Kingdom with his first-class degree in Pharmacy.

The young man who started his higher Institution journey at University of Ibadan, South-West, graduated with an outstanding first-class Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm).

After earning such an outstanding degree, Adebisi proceeded to apply for scholarships in the United Kingdom as his passion for research remain his major priority.

According to him, he applied for scholarships at four top UK universities including the University of Oxford, the University of Cambridge, the University of Nottingham and the University of Southampton, and his applications were favourably considered by all the universities.

Firstly, The University of Cambridge offered him a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Population Health Sciences, and the University of Cambridge offered him an MPH in Global Health. The University of Southampton and the University of Oxford offered him an MSc in Global Health and an MSc in Global Health Science and Epidemiology.

Nonetheless, from his post on LinkedIn, it’s been indicated that Yusuff who was left to make his choice, has decided to enrol at the prestigious University of Oxford on a fully funded scholarship.

Sharing the story on his LinkedIn page, he wrote;

“It is an honor to be one of the eight Commonwealth Shared Scholars nominated by the University of Oxford and to have been accepted into this highly competitive program,”

He continued;

“It has been an interesting journey filled with mixed emotions. My story is another proof that your background is never a limit. I am super-excited about this new phase of my life, especially with the opportunity to build further capacity in global health research in this world-class learning environment,”

“I am grateful to God, my mentors, family and friends, funders, teachers, lecturers, and everyone that has contributed to my journey,” Yusuff added.
