Colorado State University is a midsized public research university located in Fort Collins, in the U.S. state of Colorado. It was founded on September 11, 1879, as “The Agricultural College of Colorado” and renamed in 2005 to its current name when it received its first accreditation by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). The university offers degrees in over 150 disciplines through 12 colleges with over 42,000 students on campus making it one of three campuses within six separate campuses for the CSU System.

Colorado State University has two campuses: a six-acre (0.2 km) main campus in the downtown area of Fort Collins and a 92-acre (37 km) extension center in northwest Fort Collins, Colorado, off I-25. The university also operates branch campuses in Colorado Springs and Denver.

The main campus is located on the eastern edge of Fort Collins, immediately south of Colorado State University athletic fields and the Cache La Poudre River. The Extension Center, operated by the University’s Center for Advanced Studies, is known as “The Mountain Campus”.

The Mountain Campus is located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, adjacent to CSU’s athletic fields. The Mountain Campus is home to high-energy labs, specialized training, and research facilities, several graduate programs (e.g., forestry and agricultural economics), and some undergraduate programs (e.g., environmental science).

The Mountain Campus is situated on tens of thousands of trees and acres (hectares) of plant material maintained by the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WAFR) via the Colorado State University Cooperative Extension Program.

The CSU honors scholarships are a new scholarship for incoming students who are studying towards a degree or certificate at CSU. It has been designed to ensure that even more students qualify for need-based financial aid while balancing your budget and giving you more money left over to spend on food and other items during college.

  • Admission Based Scholarships at the Colorado State University

Colorado State University has announced a new program in which 40 fully-funded scholarships will be available for students who apply in 2022.

This scholarship is admission-based and depends on money allotted to the university by Colorado State. The amount of funding may vary depending on the number of students accepted into CSU in 2022. Students will be notified if they are granted a scholarship before the registration deadline and no application fee is required.

The Scholarships cover four years of tuition at CSU with no loans or repayment after graduation as well as $1000 annually for living expenses and expected parental contribution (students must have financial needs).

  • Willian J. and Jean J. Griswold Scholarship at Colorado State University

A William J. and Jean J. Griswold Scholarship in the amount of $750 per semester is available to a student who is majoring in Animal Science with an emphasis on beef cattle production and management, but not limited to just this one field, at Colorado State University.

The student must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher at the time of application for the scholarship and a score between 18-25 on the ACT/SATs or be considered to be performing above average academically by CSU’s standards.

  • OAS Undergraduate Scholarship at Colorado State University

It covers tuition, housing, food, and transfers and only requires applicants to have a GPA of 2.5 or better. The program takes place in the Latin American region where the countries that meet the physical location criteria will be considered for hosting OAS scholarships.

The scholarship offers opportunities for students to develop their knowledge outside of their major field of study and allow them to explore other regions of interest based on academic preparation, language aptitude, and professional skills development.   • OAS Graduate Scholarship at Colorado State University

The Colorado State University Academic Foundation is offering a scholarship to the first student who will graduate from the OAS program in 2022. To compete, students must be accepted into a four-year bachelor’s degree architecture program offered by CSU.

The OAS scholarship is competitive and available on a limited basis for future CSU architecture students. You may want to be one of the few selected to receive this scholarship if you are planning to major in architecture at CSU or another institution following your acceptance into an on-campus program.
