Dartmouth College Scholarships for international students are currently ongoing in the USA for the 2022/2023 academic session.

Located in Hanover, Massachusetts, Dartmouth was established in the year 1789 as a private University by Eleazar Wheelock. The university provides undergraduate studies in 40 academic departments and programs, with 60 majors and about four graduate schools for professionals.

Study in Dartmouth

To complete an academic session, students are required to complete about 35 courses in a variety of fields relative to their course of study. The majors are in Humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and engineering, enabling students to engage in double majors.

The professional graduate schools are; the Geisel school of Medicine, the Thayer School of Engineering, the Tuck school of business and the Guarini School of Graduate and Advanced studies.

Other Programmes

Dartmouth also offers different off-campus programs that include foreign studies, Language study abroad programs, and exchange programs.

The College also grants doctorate and master’s degrees in Arts and Science programs through the Graduate studies program.

Financial Aid

Meeting the need of every admitted student who applies for financial aid, Dartmouth is one of the six American universities to practice this every academic year. All applicants including international students are eligible for financial aid.

Facilities

The campus is situated in Hanover, New Hampshire at the Upper Valley along the Connecticut River in New England.

Other facilities are the college’s creative and performing Arts building known as the Hopkins Center for the Arts where film, drama, music, and studio arts department are found.

The Geisel school of medicine is located on the North side of the campus which comprises the laboratories, offices, classrooms and medical library.

The medical center is found south of New Hampshire in Lebanon with all its types of equipment and beddings for the medical school.

The Tuck school of business and Thayer School of Engineering are situated at the end of Tuck Wall, west of the campus with all its structures in place; Tuck’s seven academic buildings, library, Thayer’s two buildings and the common areas.

Libraries

The libraries comprise a volume of about 2.40 million resources including videos, maps, sound recordings, and even pictures.

There are several libraries spread across the campuses which are; biomedical libraries, Evans Map Room, Feldberg Business and Engineering Library, jones Media center, Sherman Art library and the main library.

Sports

The sports field was called The Green where cricket and football were played during the 19th century. Located in the southeast corner of the campus and includes structures like the pool, a fitness center, a weight room, and an indoor track.

Other structures are the Rowing Boathouse and a softball, the field for students who love to play softball.

Accommodation

There were nine residential campuses in Dartmouth, placing all undergraduate students in one of the house communities which is quite similar to the residential colleges.

Recently, the college has provided housing for all categories of students.

There are more than 150 student associations and societies that appeal to their interests ranging from cultural groups, performing groups and publication groups to pre-professional groups, recreational and issue-oriented groups.

The college also houses 17 fraternities, 12 sororities and other co-educational organizations.

Undergraduate Scholarships in Dartmouth Scholarships/Financial Aid
