Experiences, tips, and tricks from some cadets who have written POLAC Exams;

We will not be mentioning the names of these cadets for security reasons be we assure you these are some of the experiences of cadets who have taken the POLAC and NDA exams and made it to the various Academies.

According to a POLAC cadet, he said;

“Passing Polac Exam In Just A sitting is simple. All I had to do was to plan well. I am a kind of person that believes its not about Hard Work but Smart Work

Firstly: I found out about my subject combinations and I discovered I have 40 questions in the general paper and 20 questions in the other three subjects to answer
I simply made sure I answered the General paper well…At least If I score 36 out of 40… I only have 14 more to get to 50 which is the average…Still fair right😉

Secondly: I made a list of how good I am with the subjects according to my subject combinations
Then… I was good with maths the most. But unfortunately, maths is part of the General paper
So I made sure I read my chemistry and physics well cos I was very bad at biology

Lastly: I got past questions from vendors ( even If I had to pay for it)..if You want to achieve something tangible..you should be able to sacrifice financially right?
One thing I discovered even before I wrote polac entrance exam was that the questions are 50% repeated.”

In an interview with an NDA cadet, she told us this;

“The time factor.. You might not get enough time especially if you are a science student and have to deal with calculations because unfortunately, you won’t be allowed to come in with calculator..Just your pencil and your brain you have to operate. All I had to do was to answer the rhetorical and unsophisticated calculations
When I was done…I discovered there was enough time for me to answer the little calculations left😉.”

Another POLAC cadet said;

“I made sure i shaded my answer sheets nearly. If am not sure of an answer. I just tick the predicted answer on my question paper first and go to the next question. Too Many erasures on your answer sheet can destroy it (esp if it’s a bad eraser). The moment I heard 5 minutes more…I knew it was time for me to answer the few I left unshaded… I never make the mistake of leaving a question unshaded even if am not sure about the answer. I might get lucky. I did my calculations and discovered I answered 70+ questions out of 100 correctly
So… After my exam, I just knew I was going to pass this exam”

Another POLAC Cadet added;

“For me writing and passing polac exams wasn’t a do or die thing, I had this at the back of my mind and it helped. First to pass polac exams, you need the God factor then You need yourself.”

Finally, we also heard from an NDA cadet who shared some tips with us, he said;

“You need to know your basic subject combination, and you must be quite knowledgeable about each subject. Also, don’t over-push yourself. I saw a past question and just glanced through it for like 30 minutes..
I got up to date with current affairs… This worked for me ,your strategy might be different but I hope this helps.”

That is all on how to pass POLAC and NDA Post-UTME exams easily without stress.
