NIMC Enrolment Centres
There are designated centres country-wide and in overseas locales where you can confidently work to register for NIN. And to find NIMC registration Centres near you, visit the NIMC webpage and click on your state or Diaspora position for a comprehensive list of centres across the position.
Conditions for NIN Registration
To enrol as an grown-up, walk into the nearest NIMC Enrolment Centre with your BVN if you have one and any of the following needed Original and Valid supporting documents:
- Your Declaration of age
- Your Documentation letter from religious/ traditional leader
- Your NHIS ID card
- Your Government staff ID card
- Your Registered/ honored private association staff ID card
- Your School ID Card (private/ public)
- Your Tax Clearance document
- Your Valid immigration documents
- Your old National ID Card
- Your Motorist’s License
- Your Voter’s card( Temporary or Permanent)
- The Nigerian International passport
- Your Certificate of Origin
- Your Attestation letter from a prominent sovereign in your community
- Your Birth Certificate
How You Can Retrieve NIN Number Using USSD
To find your NIN number, use these following simple way;
- Just dial *346# on your phone using any network of your choice.
- Then enter ‘1’ to choose [NIN Retrieval Option] only if the mobile number you are sending from was used during your NIN registration.
- Again, enter ‘2’ to choose the (NIN Search option) using only the mobile number used during NIN registration.
- And immediately you will retrieve NIN without much delay,
The next step will be to link your NIN to your line, procedures differ depending on the operator.
Linking Your NIN to MTN:
The Mtn users can link their NIN to their line in any of these three ways:
- Through the online registration portal
- Through the USSD code: Just dial *785# or.
- Just go through myMTNApp, get it on Google Play or Apple Store.
- Again, Complete the NIN linking form by entering your (name, phone number, NIN, and email address).
- Then submit the form as soon as you’re done and wait for feedback from the network.
Linking Your NIN to AIRTEL:
Here, two option are available for Airtel users to link their NIN;
- The option one: Just visit the online registration webpage here.
- The option two: Just dial *121*1# on your Airtel line to submit your NIN.
- Then enter 1 for NIN Capture and send.
- Then enter your 11-digit NIN and send again.
- Then, you have to wait for the message confirming your submission.
- But if you get an error, just wait for some time and try again.
Linking Your NIN to 9 MOBILE
Hete, two option are also available to link NIN to your 9mobile line;
- The option one: Just Visit the webpage here to submit online.
- Then click on Verify and Link your NIN now and fill the required information and submit.
- The option two: Just dial *200*8# and follow the prompts to submit your details
Linking Your NIN to Glo Line
To link NIN to your Glo line, you can moreover;
- Visit the Globacom online registration portal here and fill your information and link. Or
- Just dial *109*yourNIN# , for example
*109*90123456789# and follow the prompts to submit your details Or
- Through SMS – By simply texting your 11- integers NIN number to 109…. For example 90123456789 to 109 and wait for a reply.
Your NIN Retrieval without a Phone Number
Just try the following to procedure to retrieve your NIN:
If you have lost your phone number which you used during registration for the NIN and the temporary NIMC slip.
Then, call the general retrieval code which is *346# with your current number linked with your BVN.
Then try using the NIMC Mobile app and you can get the app at NIMC web runner or on Google Play store.
Again, go to NIMC official webpage to publish your NIN slip with the QR code and view your mobile.
Still, also go to any NIMC office near you to liaise with a functionary to help you, If none of the above work.
