Ignatius Ajuru University of Education Merge 1st and 2nd Semester Into One

Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE) Merge 1st and 2nd Semester Into One
The management of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education has merged its 1st and 2nd Semester Into One

This was made known in a statement signed by the vice chancellor.

Recall that the school has also pulled out of the ongoing ASUU strike and directed its staff to resume immediately.

The statement reads;

”1ST AND 2ND SEMESTERS ROLLED INTO ONE
I wish to inform staff and students that the 1st and 2nd semesters for the 2019/2020 session have been rolled into one. This means that there will be no break between the two. Lectures will start on the 5th of October 2020 to recall the lost souls and interest of our students to academics once again.
After 3 weeks from the 5th of October, Level 400 Non-SIWES will spend one week to do their 1st semester exams, then Levels 300, 200, 100 and Level 400 SIWES in that order. Each will spend one week to write their 1st semester exams. As each level completes their 1st semester exams, they will continue the 2nd semester teaching/learning without break. We plan to end the 2019/2020 session in February 2021.
You can agree with me that we are faced with an abnormal situation; hence, we solicit the co-operation of all to succeed. We must conquer. I hope it is a Happy 60th Independence Anniversary. – VC”
