– JAMB 2021 UTME Results Out

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), has released the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results.

JAMB spokesman, Dr Fabian Benjamin, disclosed this in a statement issued on Friday. He said “Extremely comparatively few results are being withheld for further investigation.”

“the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of candidates who sat in more than 720 CBT centres for the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination conducted between Saturday, 19th and Tuesday, 22 June 2021.

“Each concerned candidate is advised to check his/her result by sending UTME RESULT to 55019 through the GSM number used by each candidate to obtain profile code and UTME registration with the Board and their results would be relayed to them. Result for subsequent days would be released daily.

– NIN Helping to Check Multiple Malpractices

The introduction of the National Identification Number (NIN) in the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination exercise has been praised by the examination body.

This, the board said it helped in eliminating multiple registrations, impersonation and other malpractices associated with examinations.

Dr Fabian Benjamin, JAMB Spokesperson disclosed this in a statement in Abuja on Wednesday.

– JAMB Delists Additional 6 CBT Centres

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has delisted additional six Computer Based Centres over poor performance on the second day of the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

Dr Fabian Benjamin, Head, Protocol and Public Affairs of JAMB, disclosed this in a statement made available to newsmen in Abuja on Tuesday.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the board had earlier delisted 24 CBT centres across the country over poor performance at the commencement of the 2021 UTME.

This figure brings the total number of delisted centres across the country to 30.

– Candidates of Delisted CBT Centres to Print New Notifications

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has directed those candidates, who were to take the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in delisted centres to print new notification slips.

In a statement by its spokesman, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, JAMB asked the affected applicants to start the printing from Sunday.

– JAMB Delists 25 CBT Centres

The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB), delisted 25 Computer Based Test centres for their poor performance in the ongoing Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

A statement issued by Dr Fabian Benjamin, yesterday in Abuja the spokesperson for JAMB, said the affected centres failed to live up to expectations, hence the decision to delist them.

“Candidates posted to any of these centres are required to await further directives by checking their profile, email addresses and SMS on their registered phone for a new date,”

Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has commenced the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) across the country. Candidates will be sitting for the Computer Based Test (CBT) examination.

General Updates on JAMB 2021

Below is the general information on Jamb Update 2021 for all jambite

  1. All candidates must mandatorily register their profiles through text messages as illustrated above before proceeding to buy the ePIN
  2. However, the registration fee is non-refundable
  3. As it is the practice, centres are allowed to charge not more than Seven Hundred Naira (₦700) only as registration. Any centre that charges more than Seven Hundred Naira (₦700) should be reported to JAMB for appropriate sanctions
  4. Also, All CBT centres have been mandated to select any of the participating banks, MMOs, MFBs, etc. These financial institutions are to be present at the CBT centres for the purpose of collecting all No CBT centre staff is also allowed to conduct direct cash transaction with the candidates
  5. Candidates are advised to read and understand the guidelines on admission and instructions on how to complete the online registration before commencing the process of registration
  6. However, multiple registrations are not Candidates who register more than once will be identified and disqualified
  7. Candidates should note that they are required to be present and take a live photograph which will be embossed on their result slips and admission letters. No scanned/stapled passport photograph is allowed
  8. Take note, Candidates/Officials would not be allowed to enter the examination centre with a wristwatch, Phone, and also electronic device, or any pen/biro. Only common pencil is allowed.
