Australian Government Scholarship

The Australian Government is currently awarding scholarships to eligible applicants from around the World. Overseen by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Australian Government awards scholarships to international students who wish to pursue a degree whether a Bachelor’s, Master or Ph.D. in any of the programs. These scholarships cover the student’s tuition for four years for Bachelor’s and
Doctorate students and two years for Master’s students.

With many academic institutions come so many grants
and scholarships that allow the schools to assist their students while they undergo
studies in Australia. These awards aim to educate, nurture, promote
and strengthen ties between Australia and its neighboring countries. Qualified students or candidates are offered these scholarships based on their skills and academic performance.

Other educational benefits of these Scholarships are the return air travel; living and establishment allowance paid by the department of the University, medical insurance and, student financial aid through various school programs.

The tuition fee for international
students in Australia depend on their home country and their choice of institution. International students are liable to pay their total tuition fees which could be between $15,000 and $33,000 for a Bachelor’s degree, $20,000 and #$37,000 for a Master’s degree, and $14,000 and $37,000 for a Doctoral degree.

of scholarships;

        
Gilbert Rigg Scholarship

This scholarship is hosted by the University of Western
Australia to academically excellent undergraduate and post-graduate students
from selected countries. This scholarship offers a discount on tuition fees for
up to four years for undergraduates and three years for post-graduate students.

Australian National University Scholarship

This scholarship is hosted by the University of Tasmania where
students enjoy benefits like paid work experience positioning, workshops and
training, casual employment, 50% off accommodation for a year, and others.
Education in Tasmania is fun and exciting.

    
Australian Government scholarship

Funded by the Government, students have access to a full-time
study in their choice of course. All expenses are covered for bachelor’s,
Master and Ph.D. degree programs.

        
University of Sydney Scholarships

This scholarship is awarded are currently open to international
students who wish to earn a bachelor’s, Masters and Ph.D. degree and do not have necessary financial capacity to do so. This scholarship is fully funded by the government.

        
Endeavor Scholarships for postgraduate degrees

This scholarship is open for short and long term study,
encouraging research and degree study to develop the country
towards leadership and educational transformation thereby expanding the students’ growth and teaching. It covers the tuition fee and offers a monthly stipend.

        
International Postgraduate Research Scholarship

This scholarship covers tuition fees for three years with a
standard extension which provides possible education for students overseas and an opportunity to do postgraduate research in Australia at a master’s or PhD level.

        
Bond University Scholarship

This scholarship covers tuition fees and monthly expenditures,
allowing students the opportunity to explore the country grounds. Funded by the government, candidates can work and learn effectively in laboratories. The programs available for this scholarship are; sports. Social Sciences, Psychology, and counseling, Hotel, and Tourism, Business and Commerce, Actuarial Science, Architecture and Law.

        
University of Notre Dame Scholarships

The University of Notre dame hosts these merit awards,
offering multiple scholarships programs by the Catholic research university
with over 1,000 students undergoing undergraduate and graduate degree programs in any academic field. There is no application fee required whatsoever. There are other scholarships at Notre Dame University.

        
Murdoch university scholarship

This is a public university scholarship that focuses in
research having over 23,000 students with about a half of them as foreign students. There is a range of research scholarships offered by external providers that give financial support and loans which covers fees and other
expenses.

        
Adelaide University Scholarship

This scholarship is open to applicants who wish to pursue a Master’s degree or Doctoral degree programs in any field of study.

        
Griffith remarkable Scholarship

This Australian scholarship awards 50% of tuition for
undergraduates and Postgraduate programs valid for the entirety of the degree. It excludes students enrolled in online programs, non awards are offered for part-time studies.

        
Deakin University scholarship

The Deaken University scholarship offers undergraduate studies in different fields of study, supporting students with financial assistance and academic aid. There are other scholarships hosted by the university for postgraduates, covering their tuition fees, health, and living allowances as well. Deakin students are also free to apply for external scholarships, another benefit
of the study.

        
Monash University scholarship

About 600 scholarships are awarded; currently open for applicants who wish to earn a Master’s Degree by Research or Ph.D. Degree in any field of study.

        
UNSW Scholarships

This is one scholarship that is open to all students in any category of Mater and postgraduate degrees. All tuition and living fees are handled by the Australian Government for both domestic and international
students.

        
University of Tasmania Scholarship

The Australian Government offers living allowances,
and relocation allowance and covers tuition fees for students who are interested in studying
at the University. This scholarship is awarded throughout the year.

        
Melbourne Graduate Research Scholarship

This scholarship runs for the period of the degree program with a living allowance of $32,000 per year and a relocation grant of $2,000 for
students moving from one territory to another. About 500 scholarships are awarded per year with 100% fee remission.

        
Flinders University Scholarship

Open to all nationalities, the university offers financial
aid and support to academically excellent students, exposing them to opportunities that enhance their career or build their leadership skills.

To be eligible for this scholarship, candidates;

 
Should be a permanent citizen of his/ her country

 
Should be committed to a return trip after completing
their degree

 
Must have at least ten years of education for an
undergraduate degree and sixteen years for a master’s degree

 
Should be from any of the following countries; Palestine
Territories, Vanuatu, Vietnam, Tuvalu, Tonga, Solomon Islands, Papua New
Guinea, Nauru, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Cambodia, Bhutan, Nepal, Maldives,
Mongolia, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Laos, Marshall Islands, Fiji, Kiribati, Wallis
and Futuna.
