An internet identified as Putri Nadea Adrianna took to her facebook timeline to congratulate and celebrate herself as she bags a first class honours BSc degree from a Malaysian university called Universiti Teknologi Mara, Malaysia(UiTM), and she happens to be the first graduate in her family.
Sharing this story with some beautiful picture while on her graduation regalia, the lady wrote;
“First Class Honours Bsc Hons Architecture 🎓💅🏼 and first in the family to graduate 🥰
Long overdue convocation but 4 grueling years of literal blood, sweat and tears for this degree has finally paid off. Grateful to my mum & dad for their constant support in my passion for design and for providing constant guidance throughout (aka. talking me through my 4 am breakdown calls), all my uni peers who’s always been there for me when I need them and my besties who’s always been a constant despite my MIA periods. Wouldn’t be the person I am today without all of you. 🤍🫶🏻
Applying for the course stemmed from my interest in aesthetics + curiousity and indecisiveness in what area of design I really wanted to dive into. A course that would leave me with a range of career opportunities but I guess it grew onto me the moment I started and thrived as the years progressed. From scoring the deans list to publishing a design+psychology paper in the midst of it all, these years took ALL of me.
Truly, in retrospect, ‘architorture’ has played the biggest role in my character development and expanded my views not only in design but across all areas of life, what matters to me and what matters collectively.
Inevitably, this is merely the beginning. Hoping to thrive in every way I can and see how much more I can discover & make of myself from here on forth 🫶🏻
