Meet Ugo Udezue The Former Basketball Player Who Relocates To Nigeria, Starts Up Sports Wear Company That Exports To Over 20 Countries
A former Nigerian basket baller Ugo Udezue gave up the ‘living the American dream’ and return to Nigeria to start a sports and athleisure wear company know as AFA Sports (Africa for Africans).
During his basketball career, he has featured for Wyoming basketball.
His brand “AFA Sports” deals specialized in the design, development, manufacturing, marketing and sales of athletic and leisure footwear, apparel and accessories.
Currently, AFA Sports exports their products to over 19 countries, has 3 shop locations in Nigeria (2 in Lagos, 1 in Abuja). However, they are putting things in place inorder to increase productivity.
In addition to his monumental achievement, Udezue also runs the Continental Basketball League, an Africa-wide basketball league with participating teams from Nigeria, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Côte d’Ivoire, Benin and Togo).
