God Did It – How I Got Into the Top 2 Public Affairs Programs in the US

I am excited to commence my Master’s in International Relations program at the number one ranked public affairs university in the United States – the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University in New York. The past ten months have witnessed unyielding faith in God and intense pursuit of big dreams – which saw me secure admission into all the schools I applied to Indiana University, University of Pittsburgh, University of Leeds, and of course – Syracuse University😊.I am forever grateful to my parents, siblings, and family who invested their resources, time, and prayers throughout the process. I am also grateful to my God-given partner Pelumi Olugbenga who stood by me, guided me, and supported me through every step of the way. I love you all so much❤️

I owe a debt of gratitude to my academic mentors: my Supervisor; Prof. Lai Oso, my Dean; Prof. Sunday Alawode, Mr. Ọlásúnkànmí Arówólò, Mr. Hassan.I am also grateful to my other graduate school journey mentors like: Kehinde Adebiyi, Oladimeji Shotunde, Abiona Olaide Oludayo.I am thankful to Syracuse University – Maxwell School for the generous scholarship to study at this great university. I have always been an international affairs enthusiast and I look forward to combining my Mass Communication background with my interest in diplomacy, international trade, and inclusive global development.

Truly, nothing is impossible for God and the best is yet to come!”
