In the video posted by a young man named Honesty Godwin, who is indeed very talented has made an electric wheelchair using locally-sourced materials

Honesty single handedly  built it from the scratch, he folded and unfolded the wheelchair for people to see how it works.

While sharing this wonderful project he took to his LinkedIn page;

 “My wheel chair project is done and dusted and I must confess that it wasn’t a cool ride up here. Infact the past two weeks of my life made me learn a whole lot of things afresh.
“Building such a device from scratch is not easy especially because I had to source everything locally here in Nigeria. But despite the depth of it all I came out victorious!!
“This I did without any strong educational background from a good university like Massachusetts Institute of Technology  or internship in a profound company like Tesla
“Imagine what my results would have been if I had a scholarship to study in Massachusetts Institute of Technology
“Imagine how sophisticated it would have been if I got an opportunity to partner with Innoson Vehicles
“Imagine the problems this and other of my projects can solve in Africa if the likes of OBI IYIEGBU or Tony O. Elumelu, C.O.N  invested in me.
“In this video, you can see me unfold the chair by dragging the backrest upward and locked it in place by pushing two knobs at the median. This was repeated at the beginning and end of the video to unfold and fold it back in place.
“After unfolding it, I sat on the sit and used the joystick placed at the handle to control the movements. And every move from the joystick was immediately followed by a seamless move on the wheelchair.“
