History has indeed been made as the Nigerian superstar female striker Asisat Oshoala got nominated for the women world ballon d’or award in 2022. She is the first African woman ever nominated for the award.
Before this amazing nomination for Ballon d’Or, Asisat has won the best ever African women football player after winning the CAF player of the year award a record 5 times. She is unarguably one of the best women football players in the world.
