Scholarships in NUS
ASEAN Undergraduate Scholarship
This is a freshmen scholarship offered to students to support them with their studies. This applies to ASEAN member countries.
As a beneficiary of this scholarship, tuition fees will be covered, you will be given an annual allowance of about $5,000, and you also enjoy a one-time computer allowance and accommodation allowance.

Science and Technology Undergraduate scholarship
The Science and Technology Undergraduate Scholarship is also a freshmen scholarship offered to Asian students. Candidates are usually shortlisted for this scholarship through their applications.
Candidates who benefit from this scholarship enjoy a tuition-free study after MOE grants subsidy, an allowance worth about $6,000 for living expenses, and a one-time computer allowance of about $1,700 amongst others.

CIMB Asean Scholarship
As a beneficiary of the ASEAN scholarship, students are awarded career mentoring, career experience and opportunities, fully-funded scholarships, allowances, and insurance fees, global networking opportunities, and cultural assimilations.
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be an ASEAN citizen from Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, or the Philippines, 27 years old, and should be pursuing a degree or Master’s from the beginning of the academic session.
There are different stages to the assessment process where candidates are screened and shortlisted for a final interview session.
Dr. Goh Keng Swee Scholarship
This is a private-sector scholarship by the ABS (Association of Banks in Singapore) awarded to students every 3 to 4 four years to students from Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, and the Philippines.
Set up to assist financially unstable students and foster Singapore’s economic community, the scholarship is in honor of the former Singapore Prime Minister.
Tuition and other expenses are covered, and airfare and an annual maintenance fee of about SGD6,500 are given to qualifies students.
GIC Scholarship
The GIC scholarship is for three years and is offered to students who are eager to study Medicine and dentistry in a foreign land. The scholarship covers all tuition, a monthly allowance, return economy airfare, an internship during the second year of study, and sponsorship for a Master’s upon approval from management.
Another scholarship under the GIC is the MENDAKI which is in partnership with NUS, NTU, and SMU, a strategic program for Asian students.
