Post Covid19: Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) Set To Reopen School For The Terminal Levels Only (ND2 and HND2), Releases Guidelines For Resumption

The management of Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) has released guidelines for resumption of normal school activities for the terminal levels only(ND2 and HND2) by which they are to revise and Complete all registration for a period of six weeks and after that they have their Examinations.

The school management also released Some guidelines which it said have been put in place to curb the spread of the Corona-virus disease, this was made known in a circular released by the Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) management. The circular went further to state all the necessary guidelines put in place to curb the corona virus pandemic and mitigate against any spread.

This is coming at a time some schools like ANSU, UNIMAID, ESUT AND ANSPOLY have also announced measures put in place to reopen schools in the various institutions.

The summary of the guidelines includes;
1. Face masks must be worn in classes and on campus
2. Only 50% of the class attendance are advised to be in a classes.
3. Hand washing systems, sanitizers and other necessary equipment will be put in place.

Recall that schools in Nigeria have been locked up since march due to the Corona Virus pandemic that has taken the lives of thousands, since then there have been protests by students asking the government to reopen schools in the country.
