Profile of Peace Ufuoma – The Final Year UNIBEN Student With the “Aggressive Malpractice Brought Me This Far Video

Peace Ufuoma, is a 25year old final year student of the University of Benin who wore a shirt with the inscription “aggressive malpractice brought me this far” during her final year exams. This made her an online sensation. Peace Ufuoma who is from Delta State graduated from the Microbiology Department, Faculty of Life Sciences. She has been summoned to appear before a disciplinary panel over the video, and if found wanting, she is likely to be dismissed or have her certificate withheld. The Department of Microbiology, University of Benin has constituted a committee to probe the results of a female student, who marked her graduation in a controversial shirt.

The memo sighted online was signed by the department’s head, S.E Omonigho, and directed to one Prof I. O Enabulele to head the committee.

It read, “To investigate her involvement in any examination malpractice; to investigate what transpired about the online publications; to scrutinize all her results till date, including all exam scripts; to scrutinize all marking schemes for all her courses; how true is the inscription on her shirt…?”

On Wednesday, July 21, the internet was afloat with a report that Peace Ufuoma has been ordered to rewrite her exams from 200 level to final year, following the conclusion of a probe by a disciplinary committee set up by UNIBEN.

Last week, the university management had ordered that all the results of the student be investigated.

However, the University of Benin has denied the reports circulating online that a recent graduate of the school who wore a shirt with the inscription “aggressive malpractice brought me this far” during her final year exams has been asked to rewrite all exams from 200 level. The spokesperson for the University of Benin, Benedicta Adeola Ehanire, has said there is no report yet from the panel set up to investigate Peace Ufuoma.

The girl is to be blame, must she put something like that on her cloth. Even if the school doesn’t take any action against her what she put on her cloth didn’t portrait her well.
Is she the only one graduating? NO
Is she the only one that cheated during exam? NO
She made a mistake by putting that on her cloth and she has to face the consequences.

To be sincere, peace is to be blamed. if she is wise, she can go to court. Uniben does not have any proof that she cheated. she is thru with her exams and that is all. Uniben does not have any legal right to tell her to repeat her exams. she was not caught in the act so she is very free. To me, this not an issue.
