Three (3) kinds of applicants are being recruited to apply for the Queen Elizabeth Scholars-West Africa program in GhanaThe Queen Elizabeth Scholars (QES) program in its bid to promote development funded NetInks , a McGill University program, a University of Ghana program , a University Joseph KI-ZERBO program, it is funded to strengthen the capacity of researchers who work and deal with farmers,it strengthens entrepreneurs, community leaders, as well as local institutions to build and develop solutions to promote equity and sustainable development as well as inclusive growth in rural communities.

  • The All-but-dissertation (ABD) type doctoral student applicants (rounded-up coursework and PhD qualifying exams).
  • The research under mentorship of a principal and lead investigator; that is researcher who has led their own laboratory or their research project for a time range between 4-7 years or those in a tenure-track rank countries’ or persons who are Canadian citizen.
  • Students training in the Eastern Region of Ghana. The program Is set to start around late January 2023.
  • Ghana students can apply, they are to include yellow fever and COVID-19 vaccinations . All international/foreign and in-country travel, students accommodations, and expenses for meals will be settled directly by the program.Students Personal expenses which are related to their visa requirements,,their vaccines, their COVID-19 testing, and other airport transfer activities will be reimbursed in Ghana.   • You are expected to have an excellent English language speaking and writing skills;
  • Anglophones: persons with French language skills will also be prioritized.
