The Lagos State Office of Education Quality Assurance (OEQA) has warned private school owners against inviting students to school, violating the directive of the State Government to shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as any school caught flouting this order would be sanctioned.
To ensure compliance, the Office of Education Quality Assurance Monitoring and Investigation team embarked on compliance monitoring exercise across the state simultaneously to ensure that schools adhere to this directive.
According to the Director-General, OEQA, Abiola Seriki-Ayeni, any school caught would be penalised and advised the public to reach them on firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com for further enquiries.
