The main objective/aim of the incubator programme is to assist Zambian women entrepreneurs or business owners who wish to or to persons are using digital technology to grow their businesses but are short of the necessary support. This Business Incubation offers up to Three (3) months of learning experience in the area of business management and operations, Personalized Mentor-ship will be provided, mentorship for all fellows and their business needs, Access to legal support, accounting, financial planning and assistance and tech support.

Under this program, you will gain Access to different kinds of networking opportunities with fellow successful candidates and industry experts, access to Funding Opportunities up to $10,000 equity-free funding & grant plus seed funding for the top five (5) finalists who finishes from the incubation programme to Help with the implementation of the learned technology in their various businesses. Moreover Six (6) months of ongoing assistance from Standard Chartered, from BongoHive and a network of coaches as well as mentors to help with go-to- market strategies and to help in scaling-up for the selected top five (5) finalists will be organized. Requirements for Application into Women in Tech Incubation Program

  • The business owner is expected to be a Zambian female founder or she is co-founder over eighteen 18 years of age and she is with an equal stake or majority stake;
  • The business must be residing and operating in Zambia;
  • The business is expected to be already using digital technology, or you have a clear want to incorporate digital technology to assist the business to grow
  • The business owner is expected to be of Zambian nationality;
  • The business must have been properly registered with PACRA for not less than 3 months;
  • The business owner may be needing to support for customer, for product, and/or for business model development;
  • Key persons of the business (preferably two 2 Of its founders ) must be present to undertake the 3-month incubation programme which is set to begin from March to May 2023;
  • The top-5 winners of the incubation programme are expected to be able to attend a 6- month acceleration programme which is set to hold from June 21st to 21st of November 2023. The prize fund is mainly for building digital technology and any outside balance is to be used in the business.
