The Polytechnic Ibadan (POLYIBADAN) Begins Preparation For Resumption, Asks Senior Staffs To Resume Academic Activities
The Polytechnic Ibadan (POLYIBADAN) has begun preparations for possible resumption of academic activities. This was made known in a statement by the school management, InsideOyo reports.
In preparation for the reopening of the institution, the Polytechnic Ibadan has asked its Deans, Heads of Academic Departments, members of non teaching staff from Grade Levels 11 and above to resume on Monday, 24th of August, 2020.
This was made known in a statement signed by the school registrar, Mrs Fawale M. T. on Sunday and made available to insideoyo.
The release titled “Preparedness for Reopening of the Polytechnic Ibadan” also stated that members of staff on essential duties should resume and others whom services may be needed can be called anytime.
Members of staff were also enjoined to wear face masks, use sanitizers/wash hands regularly and maintain social distance measures in accordance with Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC), Federal Ministries of Health and Education regulations.
You would recalls that the institution was shut down alongside other institutions in the country due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
It reads in part: “Please be informed that all Deans, Heads of Academic Departments, all Non-Teaching Staff on Grade levels 11 to 14, and those on essential duties are to resume back to work on Monday, 24th August, 2020 at 8.00am.
“This is to ensure that adequate preparations are put in place for the School reopening and attention given to some academic related issues on ground.
“Staff are enjoined to wear face masks, use sanitizers/wash hands regularly and maintain social distance measures in accordance with NCDC, Federal Ministries of Health and Education regulations.
“Also note that others whom their services may be needed can be called anytime. Thank you”
