1. Federal University, Oye-Ekiti
The Federal University of Oye-Ekiti is a public government-owned and operated Nigerian university accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC). The institution was founded in 2011 by President Goodluck Jonathan, and it provides a wide range of programs and degrees to students from all walks of life.
This seven-year-old higher-education school offers a stringent admissions process based on entrance exams and applicants’ previous academic records and ratings. To apply for a course at the Federal University of Oye-Ekiti, you must have a minimum of at least 5 credits in your SSCE, WAEC, NECO, GCE or NABTEB and must be in the maximum of 2 sittings. Secondly, you must also choose the correct JAMB subject combination for your course.
You need to also perform well in your Jamb and score at least 180, but because of how competitive the university is, it is advisable to score at least 200 and above. All aspirants must be at least 16 years and must participate in FUOYE UTME/screening to be offered admission into the school.
Students who wish to apply for direct entry must also have the correct JAMB subject combination for their course and must have at least an upper credit in their HND, ND or NCE results. Applicants must also be at least 16 years old.

On January 14 1981, Chief Adekunle Ajasin, headed by the Ondo State civilian administration, stated the intention to construct a multi-campus university in the state, and a 16-member organizing committee was formed. The exercise established the university in March 1982.

Ekiti State University Ado-Ekiti Admission Requirements
To apply to study at Ekiti State University, you must have at least five credits in WAEC, SSCE, GCE, NABTEB or NECO in not more than 2 sittings. Your five credits must include Mathematics and English Language. In addition, applicants must have 180 in their JAMB and partake in the EKSU post UTME screening examination. Finally, students must be at least 16 years old to apply.
