#1 University of Ibadan
University of Ibadan is a public research university established in 1948. The University is located in Ibadan, South-west, Nigeria. It is the first university in Nigeria. The university has a major drive which is, to be a world class institution for academic excellence that is geared towards meeting societal needs.
Currently the academic programs in the university are run in 16 faculties namely: Science, Arts, Clinical Sciences, Basic Medical Sciences, Agriculture, Social Sciences, Education, Veterinary Science, Public Health, Dentistry, Law, Technology, Pharmacy, Economics, Renewable Natural Resources and Environmental Design and Management.
The school also runs a college of medicine which comprises four faculties; Basic Medical Sciences, Clinical Sciences, Public Health and Dentistry. The school also run postgraduate programs which are well recognized both nationally and internationally.
Both the students, staffs and graduates of this premier university are continually making global impact through their new inventions, creativity, discoveries in different fields such as medicine, agriculture, technology, etc.

Covenant University was established as a private Christian University in 2002. It is located at Ota, South West, Nigeria. In the recent times, the university has stood as one of the best university in Nigeria. Also webometrics ranking in 2021 named covenant university as the best private university in Nigeria.
