The Axel Adler Scholarship is awarded to outstanding students with an interest in the history of Scandinavia, the Baltic States, and Russia, who are seeking a Master’s or Doctoral degree at the University of Gothenburg. The scholarship covers all tuition fees over two years. Applications must be submitted by February 1st of each year, along with a 500-word statement on why they would like to receive this scholarship and how they see themselves as future historians.

This scholarship has been funded by donations from pupils at Metso Primary School in Charlottesville, Virginia – USA since 2011.
