In 1909, the Melbourne Teacher Training College was established in the old University of Melbourne building in Parkville. In 1929, it became Melbourne Teachers’ College.
The college was split between the Latrobe-South Yarra and Domain campuses in 1972. Under a reorganization at the start of the 21st century, it was rebranded as Victoria University. In 2005, after receiving limited state government funding for growth and performance pay increases, Victoria University staff were encouraged by their union to take protected industrial action on two separate occasions during 2005 and 2006. Protests occurred outside the Government House on 1 March 2007 in response to recent cuts to TAFE teaching funding and proposed cuts to university funding.
The University of Melbourne had previously offered degrees from 1897, but in that year, the Victorian government withdrew funding and it became a university college; in 1910, it became an affiliated college.

The scholarship has a value of A$40000 for three years at the University of Queensland’s Faculty of Business, Economics & Law (also known as UQ Business School). It is open for undergraduate degrees that are primarily based around the international business.
Entrepreneurship is valued highly by UQ Business School which offers four undergraduate degrees in the area: Master of Entrepreneurship (MEn), Bachelor of Entrepreneurship (BE), Bachelor Of Science (BSc), and Bachelor Of Commerce – International Trade Degree.
The scholarship is open to Indonesian students who have been accepted onto an undergraduate course at UQ Business School, which is based in Queensland, Australia. Winners are chosen among applicants from across the world.
The scholarship was established in 2009 by the ASEAN Business Council (ABC) and the Australian Government through a partnership between the ABC and Australia’s Department of Education and Training (DET).
