York University Automatic Entrance Scholarship
Awarding a Scholarship of $4,000 per year to International students depending on their grades and eligibility. It’s a yearly renewable scholarship dependent on the student’s course load and GPA. Secondary school students are its most recognized beneficiaries as they are allowed to apply directly having an outstanding school diploma. In order to maintain its renewal, students must maintain a minimum of 8.00 sessional grade point average. Its application process is minimal as students will be considered based on their final admission.
Glendon International Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to International students who are admitted into Glendon with top academic standing and demonstrate great leadership potential or students who need financial assistance. Students will be selected based on letters from the student’s school or community. Candidates are advised to submit a nomination letter, completing a 300 word statement demonstrating their leadership attributes. This scholarship is offered every Fall or Winter.
Graduate scholarships
York offers admissions to students who are self funded or sponsored by government or cooperatives. These packages admit studenst into Full-time Masters and PhD programs in York with financial support for the first five terms (20 months) of the program. Unlike other programs, course with specialization in AI is not funded but financial support is available in form of internships and scholarships. PhD programs are considered for financial support for their first twelve terms (48 months) with a fee of about $27,000 per year. Outstanding applications will be considered for entrance scholarships of $3,000 each. There are also teaching assistantships offered on a full-time basis in PhD and M.Sc programs. A full TA requires 270n hours of work over year and a value of about $16,000.

This scholarship supports graduate students who have excellent work related to Human rights, Cultural diversity, multiculturalism and other humanitarian areas. This award is up to $8,000 and non-renewable which also includes student support.
Joyce and Fred Zemans Scholarship
This Scholarship is offered ton one graduate student from each of The Graduate Program in art History (preference given to students in Canadian Art and or Cultural studies), The Schulich School of Business MBA program (preference given to students specializing in Arts and Media administration), The Osgoode Hall law School’s Graduate Program in Law (preference given to students whose research focuses on Alternative Dispute Resolution or Access to justice). To be eligible, you must be registered for a Masters’ or doctoral York graduate student. General requirements include a letter of nomination, curriculum vitae and transcript of records.
