A Facebook user identified as Alex Enyindah took to his Facebook profile to share a heart touching congratulatory post to honor his longtime friend named Thompson Ofuru who despite the challenges of life has finally bagged a PHD degree.
In his post, Mr. Alex said that he never believed that his friend will bag a PHD degree because of the challenges of life that surrounded the young man.
Below is he what Alex captioned the congratulatory post;
“Results are outcome of someone’s actions so, I’m here to share in your success because you acted well. DR. THOMPSON OFURU you are one person I never believed will bag PhD degree, not even in your late 30s because of your struggling family background. As a result, you were humiliated by the people you called your own (lovers, relatives, people of the same belief, colleagues etc).
Before you meet Better your dear wife, I witness a lady turned you down as a son of bicycle repairer, and another lady for being a one room man, Some senior citizens of our home town bounced calls on you because to them you were just a burden. Yes!! You have crossed that stage and those are now history.
You picked yourself from FSLC to PhD. Having known who you are and your level of courage, I believe your wife’s PhD will soon be in view.
I zoomed to PH from eastern Nigeria just to be a witness to this laudable achievements. You are a pace setter for others especially the youths. I’m so overwhelmed by this fit of yours!
