Young Lady Graduates With PhD From Towson University As One Of The Only Two Black Students In A Class Of 20

A 24-year-old black lady, Maria Aretha James has recently bags a PhD degree from Towson University in the U.S. she was one of the only two black doctoral students in her class of about 20 persons.

She earned her PhD in Occupational Therapy and also received the programme’s “Leadership and Advocacy” award.

Her doctor’s thesis focused on “culturally responsive care for adolescents with complex trauma.”

Before advancing for doctoral degree, she received her bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from Oakwood University in Alabama, USA.

Her family and relatives were not surprised by her achievement at an early age because she has always been a very intelligent and smart woman.
