Ephraim Belete is the young man who carried firewood on his graduation day in honour of his hardworking mother.
Ephraim story went viral when he was spotted on his graduation carrying firewood for the mum. he didn’t stop there, he went further to cloth her with his graduation gown and cap as a sign of honor to his mother’s sacrifices.
According to what Ephraim said, he said that his mum used to carry firewood and walked long distances to sell them to get money to educate him, and that was his way of being grateful for her support.
This single act of his touched other netizen including the Adanech Abebe the mayor of Addis Ababa till he presented Ephraim a House according to a Twitter post by Ethiopian news and media company Hule Addis Media.
In addition to that, Ephraim was offered a job for the Information Network Security Agency (INSA).
